Oatmeal biscuits













When making biscuits I have often thought about them as being delicious but not so healthy. Then I started replacing some of the flour with oatmeal and adding a little less sugar. It's still a cake, but a more healthy one.

You can vary the amount of oatmeal and flour, depending on how you like it, but here is the recipe, I used for these delicious ones, you see on the pictures.

Ingredients:

250 grams of butter.
225 grams of flour.
1/2 dl. sugar.
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar.
1 spoon baking powder.
1,5 dl. oatmeal.
(oil /water.)

First you mix flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, oatmeal and baking powder. Then you add melted butter and stir.
Then you add oil or water, until your dough is moist and even.

Make small balls of the dough, and bake them in a preheated oven on 200 degrees for 5- 10 minutes.
